Formed in Minneapolis in 2000, The Bad Plus spent over two decades reshaping jazz by absorbing rock, punk and avant-garde influences into a sound entirely their own. Now a guitar-and-saxophone quartet, they are touring in the final year of their existence following a disbanding announcement in January 2026.
