Cozy - An Evening of Dance

Cozy means comfort, feeling at ease - with yourself, your surroundings, and the people around you.

Choreographer Rachel Brooker asked a group of young dancers: what stops me from feeling comfortable in my own body and with others? She posed the same question to herself, just before returning to the stage after a long break. The result is two dance pieces that express what the dancers could never have put into words.

The evening is rounded out by three choreographies from Kinder- und Jugendballett Frankfurt (Oder) e.V., ranging from contemporary dance and ballet to folk dance. Tender, powerful, playful - Cozy weaves together different movement languages into one evening about what bodies can tell us.
