Five nuns have organised a benefit gala - to raise money for the funerals of their fellow sisters, who died after eating fish soup. What follows is an evening of solo numbers, tap dancing and ballet interludes, as the five pull out all the stops to fill the convent's coffers.

"Non(n)sens" by Dan Goggin - writer, composer and former convent school pupil - has been translated into 21 languages and staged in over 8,000 productions worldwide. The show won the "Outer Critics Circle Award" for best musical, best book and best score, among other honours.

This is the closing night of the Frankenfestspiele Röttingen at Burg Brattenstein.
