In the middle of the Baltic Sea, not far from the Danish sunny island of Bornholm, lie the small pea islands: a few dozen residents, plenty of nature, and picturesque fishing cottages. The idyll ends when young environmental activist Anna disappears under mysterious circumstances. Lennart Ipsen, head of Bornholm's criminal police, takes the mail ship to Christiansø to conduct initial investigations - but a violent storm approaches and traps him there. As the wind rages around the islands, he must discover that even this enchanted place is not free from envy, hatred, and greed.

"Storm over Christiansø" is Michael Kobr's fourth solo crime novel featuring detective Lennart Ipsen. Kobr brings his characters to life on stage with altered voices and various dialects, offering insights into his commissioner's inner world. The reading is accompanied by Stephan Winkler on piano.
