A Special Kurt Tucholsky Evening: "Today Between Yesterday and Tomorrow"

Johannes Kirchberg brings a Tucholsky evening to Heringsdorf on Thursday, 27 August 2026 at 19:30, performing at Villa Irmgard. This is one of three German dates on his tour. The historic seaside villa, dating from the late nineteenth century and once visited by Tsar Nicholas II, will host chansons and couplets inspired by Tucholsky's work-touching on love, politics, and a wry view of the world. Kirchberg sings, plays, and recites, drawing on compositions by Eisler, Bienert, and his own arrangements. Admission: 16 euros.
