Description was written before the event

Peter Wohlleben speaks with Margarete von Schwarzkopf about his new book "Bacteria: Our Secret Heroes" (Malik 2026). The focus is on microorganisms invisible to the naked eye that nonetheless control many processes: they motivate us to exercise, influence the weather, and could play a crucial role in addressing the climate crisis.

The event is aimed at everyone who wants to better understand the biological processes of everyday life.

This event will be simultaneously interpreted into German Sign Language.

About the venue: PS.SPEICHER Einbeck

PS.SPEICHER is a large automotive museum housed in a historic granary in Einbeck, a town long associated with the brewing of Einbecker beer. The collection spans over 1,000 vehicles - cars, motorcycles and bicycles - tracing more than 125 years of mobility history. The converted warehouse gives the exhibits an industrial backdrop that suits the mechanical character of the collection.
