The Johann-Joachim-Quantz-Gesellschaft presents a concert titled "Quantz! And Then?" on Sunday, 6 September 2026, at 5:00 PM in St. Markuskirche in Scheden. The programme explores a central question: where did the art of composition go after Quantz, who alone left behind more than 300 flute concertos?

Performing are flautist Susanne Sohayegh and organist Konrad Kata, both from Lübeck, who already appeared in Scheden in 2023. The programme features works by Johann Adolph Hasse, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Frédéric Chopin/Gioachino Rossini, Gabriel Fauré, and Theodor Blumer.
