Description was written before the event

Isabelle Geffroy, known as Zaz, returns to Germany in summer 2026 for nine open-air shows in July and August.

Growing up in Tours (born 1 May 1980), she showed musical talent early - at seven she came second in a radio competition. She studied music in Bordeaux, performed with the Latin-rock band Don Diego, and worked the Parisian cabaret Les trois maillets, sometimes spending up to five hours a day on stage. In Montmartre she met producer Kerredine Soltani; together they wrote "Je veux", the centrepiece of her debut album "Zaz". The album came out in 2010, reached number one in France, and became a hit in Germany too.

Two Echo nominations, the European Border Breakers Award, and live albums followed. In 2012 she climbed Mont Blanc with two musicians to perform "Je veux" unplugged there - a moment jointly filmed by ZDF and Arte. Beyond music, she is involved with the Colibri movement founded by Pierre Rabhi, which advocates for a more sustainable social model.

With "Recto verso" (2013), "Paris" (2014), "Effet miroir" (2018), and "Isa" (2021) she demonstrated her range. In September 2025 she made her comeback with the album "Sains et saufs", followed by a sold-out German tour in December. This summer she returns for the open-air series - including her show at Museumshof Fulda.
