About

ZAZ is the stage name of Isabelle Geffroy (born 1 May 1980 in Tours, France), a singer-songwriter whose sound weaves together jazz, chanson, soul and acoustic folk. Her 2010 debut single "Je veux" became an international hit and drove her self-titled album to the top of the French charts, eventually selling over 5 million copies worldwide. Classically trained from childhood in violin, piano and choral singing, she built her craft in Bordeaux jazz groups and Parisian cabarets before breaking through. Her sixth studio album, "Sains et saufs" (September 2025), charted in five European countries and was shortlisted for RTL France's Album of the Year.
