Brand-new innovations - the new Mercedes-Benz GLA and the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC+ as the original record-breaking car

The Mercedes-Benz Customer Center in Rastatt presents two new models from the local plant: the fully electric Mercedes-Benz GLA and the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC+. The latter is on display as the actual car used in the record run on 28 July 2026 at the Nurburgring - on the legendary Nordschleife it claimed the title of fastest vehicle in its class.

Product managers will guide guests through the design, engineering and equipment of both models and take questions. Special features can be inspected up close on the spot.

The evening includes a culinary programme: burrata on colourful roasted beetroot (walnuts, figs, honey balsamic), savoury quiche in two varieties (bacon/leek/mountain cheese and Hokkaido pumpkin/goat's cheese/thyme), three poke bowls, and desserts in glasses (stewed plums with vanilla quark and butter crumble, and apple-cinnamon crumble with salted caramel). Food is paired with wines from the Kopp winery in Sinzheim; sommelier Mark Oertel accompanies the evening with matching wine tastings. The culinary offer is subject to change.
