The Bavarian-Swabian Comedy Night takes place on 30 August 2026 (Sunday) at Burg Stettenfels castle in Untergruppenbach. Burg Stettenfels is a hilltop fortress with roots reaching back to the 12th century; the current Renaissance-style structure dates mainly from the 16th century and remains privately owned. About: Markus Zipperle

Markus Zipperle is a Swabian comedian and cabaret performer who goes by the nickname "Saugosch". His shows mix stand-up, improvisation and sung numbers delivered in thick Swabian dialect. He has won the Sebastian-Blau-Preis and the Freudenstädter Comedy-Preis, and is also known for voicing the characters Äffle & Pferdle.
