Klubkino: Der Held vom Bahnhof Friedrichstraße

Micha Hartung (Charly Hübner) runs a video rental shop in Berlin - and is on the verge of going bust. On the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a journalist suddenly casts him as the mastermind behind a spectacular mass escape from East Germany. A small fib quickly snowballs into a big story, and Micha finds himself celebrated as a hero of reunified Germany.

The deeper he sinks into half-truths and lies, the more precarious his house of cards becomes. And right now, of all times, he meets Paula (Christiane Paul), who turns his life upside down in an entirely different way.
