Sweet and Silly - Without a Wallet

A Friedrich Hollaender revue celebrating his 130th birthday

The trio Dirk Rave (accordion and arrangements), Chanson-Nette (vocals) and Henry Nandzik (vocals and acting, known from "La Cage aux folles" and "Charley's Aunt") presents the world of Friedrich Hollaender - composer and lyricist between Berlin, Hollywood and cabaret. Directed by Isabelle Gensior.

The programme ranges from quirky stories about child prodigies, princesses and hysterical goats to classics like "I'm Crazy About You" - sung in multiple voices, in the style of the Comedian Harmonists, with original accordion arrangements and affectionate irreverence.

Not Gaga - a little bit Dada.
