World-class piano music - Liebesleid! Baroque Meets Romanticism - Timeless Masterworks!

The programme opens with Baldassare Galuppi's Sonata No. 5 in C major (I. Andante / II. Allegro / III. Vivace), followed by Sergei Rachmaninoff's piano arrangement of Kreisler's "Liebesleid" and Variations on a Theme of Corelli op. 42 (Theme. Andante, Coda. Andante, Variations 1-20).

After the intermission, Frédéric Chopin's Four Mazurkas op. 33 (1. G-sharp minor - Mesto / 2. C major - Semplice / 3. D major - Vivace / 4. B minor - Mesto) are on the programme, along with the Polonaise op. 26 No. 1 in C-sharp minor and the Polonaise-Fantaisie in A-flat major op. 61.
