Villingen-Schwenningen mayoral election - candidate presentation and panel discussion

On 4 October, the residents of Villingen-Schwenningen will elect a new mayor. The incumbent, Jürgen Roth, who has held the office for seven years, announced back in October 2025 that he intends to run again for another eight-year term. Who will challenge him remains open - applications are expected to be possible until early September.

At the panel discussion, Cornelia Spitz (regional editor-in-chief of the Schwarzwälder Bote) and Michael Hoyer (media professor and communications expert) will question the candidates about their plans for the twin city.
