Julia Lezhneva and Kammerorchester Basel perform in Dresden on Friday, 4 September 2026 at the Frauenkirche. This is one of two German dates on the artist's tour. The Frauenkirche is a Lutheran Baroque church on Neumarkt square, built in the 18th century. The building was destroyed during the bombing of Dresden in February 1945 and served as a war memorial for decades until its restoration was completed in 2005. Lezhneva will perform Baroque arie di baule-favourite works by Handel, Hasse, Porpora, and Vivaldi that travelling singers carried with them on tour to ease the learning of new roles. Admission: 22 €.
