Climb to the top of the Frauenkirche's dome in Dresden - 67 metres up, with sweeping views over the city and the surrounding landscape.
Dresden, Germany
The Frauenkirche is a Lutheran baroque church on the Neumarkt square, originally built in the 18th century and famously reduced to rubble during the Allied bombing of Dresden in February 1945. Its ruins stood as a war memorial for decades before a painstaking reconstruction was completed in 2005. Today the church hosts regular worship services as well as concerts and public events beneath its iconic stone dome.
