Five dancers turn the main street of Dresden's Neustadt district into a stage: they inhabit facades and windows, shops and backyards, asking questions about the place - How does our environment shape the way we live together? How do we share space? The audience follows a choreographic route through the neighbourhood, along which residents' stories are also told.
The piece is inspired by ROOF PIECE by US choreographer Trisha Brown, who in 1971 sent dancers across the rooftops of a New York neighbourhood.
