True to the spirit of Berlin operetta, this production is silly, frivolous, and colourful. Every principal and supporting role - from Princess Rosine to the inhabitants of a mysterious land of plenty and the royal court - is played and sung by just two performers, who also double as the entire orchestra and corps de ballet.

Stefanie Dietrich, known as Mizzi Meier and from the in-house production about Kurt Tucholsky, and Meik van Severen - who has also made a name for himself as a drag queen and appears on this stage for the first time - carry the whole show between them. Paul Lincke's music and Stephan Bolz's extravagant costumes complete the picture.

"Prinzess Rosine", which had its world premiere in Berlin in 1905, is presented here in a new adaptation by Fabian Gerhardt and Stefanie Dietrich.
