Die Traumhochzeit - A Humorous Comedy About Love Across Cultural Differences

The comedy follows Hakan, a young man with Turkish roots, and his German girlfriend Nina - and what happens when their wedding planning collides with two families who have very different expectations, cultural backgrounds, and ideas. With wit and sensitivity, the play brings to light the typical misunderstandings, role expectations, and challenges of living together across cultures.

The production comes from the German-Turkish theatre group "Halber Apfel", led by author and director Murat Isboga, which has been staging intercultural productions for years. "Die Traumhochzeit" is one of the ensemble's most successful pieces.

The performance takes place as part of the Langen Nacht der Demokratie and the Interkulturellen Woche Aalen. Suitable from age 8.
