88 Keys Through Time - Haiting Ning on a Musical Journey of Discovery

"Weltklassik am Klavier - Piano Time Travel - durch die Welt der Tasten!" brings Haiting Ning to Burg Holtzbrinck in Altena for an evening of solo piano spanning three centuries.

The first half features three sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti (D minor K 1, B minor K 87, C major K 132) and the Partita No. 1 in B-flat major BWV 825 by Johann Sebastian Bach.

After the interval, Franz Liszt's Ballade No. 2 in B minor S. 171 takes centre stage, followed by Bach's Chaconne from Partita No. 2 in D minor BWV 1004 in the transcription by Ferruccio Busoni.
