Daniel Hope | Staatskapelle Halle

Daniel Hope and Staatskapelle Halle, conducted by Fabrice Bollon, perform at Frauenkirche in Dresden on Saturday, 12 September 2026. The programme features Elgar's Violin Concerto in B minor and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 in B minor, "Pathétique" - two monumental works in the same key that read like musical testaments of their composers. This is one of six German dates on the artist's tour. Frauenkirche, a Baroque Lutheran church on Neumarkt square, was built in the 18th century and painstakingly restored after the 1945 bombing. Its interior provides an exceptional acoustic setting for this repertoire. Admission is 24 euros.
