tonwert - Living Room Concert in Hall 13

The Kulturwohnzimmer at CD-Kaserne is an intimate concert series that provides a platform for artists from Celle. Without a large distance between stage and audience, a shared space emerges where music has a direct impact.

The band tonwert was founded in 2024 in Celle's artistic neighbourhood Wietzenbruch and plays handmade, acoustic music with German-language lyrics. Frontman Matthias Kleister tells stories in his songs about everyday moments and feelings - accessible and direct. The lineup of guitar, piano, bass, and cajón creates a warm, grooving sound that blends elements of singer-songwriter, folk, and indie-rock. The first EP was released in early 2025, followed by the first CD in early 2026; all songs are available on major streaming platforms.
