A modern farce by Edith Ehrhardt based on the film by Andreas Geiger - performed by Theater Lindenhof.
Directed by: Edith Ehrhardt
Cast: Linda Schlepps, Hannah Im Hof, Rino Hosennen, Luca Zahn, Berthold Biesinger
Andreas inherits a meadow with a cottage in his home village from his grandfather and soon discovers that half of the cottage at the forest edge doesn't actually stand on his property. His grandfather made a four-meter mistake 80 years ago during construction. This would be manageable if an entrepreneur hadn't bought the adjacent municipal forest to turn it into his private hunting ground.
Andreas finds himself in a battle against money, property claims, laws, and bureaucracy. The building authority, courts, the mayor, and the church - nobody knows how to save the cottage. In the end, demolition looms, but Andreas refuses to give up.
Told with wit, comedy, and Swabian charm, this is a contemporary story about "land grabbing" on a small scale.
