Miss Wonder

Three women share a dream: to perform a concert before the Queen in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. To get there, they must win a singing competition - and for that, they need Miss Wonder.

At an audition, they meet: Rosa, a substitute German teacher; Käthe, a seamstress with opera training; and Hilde, a milkmaid and yodeler, a natural talent through and through. A women's band is to be formed - or so insists Captain John McGintley, organizer of the "Anglo-German Swing Festival".

Murat Yeginer tells this story with a wink: humorous yet melancholic and touching, accompanied by numerous songs from the 1930s and 1940s.
