"Bauer sucht Sau" is a matchmaking show on the radio: a farmer eager to marry is sent two women to choose from - if he weds one of them within three days, he wins 50,000 euros stashed in a piggy bank.

On the farm of Josef Speck senior and Josef Speck junior, chaos breaks out when their name is announced on the radio as the farmer being sought. The prize money also catches the eye of chicken farmer Paul Kratzer and shepherd Vincent Bock - and with the stern Adelheid Still and former KGB agent Olga Orkanowna in the mix, the marriage market is officially open.

Who gets to carry the bride over the threshold in the end - that, of course, we won't reveal here.
