Jupiter Jones are hitting the road in 2026 with their new album "Ich trag den Sarg, Du trägst was Buntes" - and will perform at Hallenbad Wolfsburg.

The album's story begins in 2019, when Sascha Eigner and Nicholas Müller decided to reunite Jupiter Jones in Hamburg's Eimsbüttel district: new album, Reeperbahn Festival, tour. Then 2020 arrived, bringing masks, bad moods, and a bit of fear. Songwriting felt like a race against the death of the industry. Yet in 2022, "Die Sonne ist ein Zwergstern" emerged - the reunion's second debut, which became a moment of relief and love. One thing was clear: next time had to be different.

For "Ich trag den Sarg, Du trägst was Buntes," Eigner and Müller brought in support: Andi Weizel (producer and songwriter, including work with Frida Gold) took on co-production - a collaboration that traces back to the albums "Holiday in Cacatonia" and "Jupiter Jones," where Weizel once worked as a production assistant. Contributing to songwriting: Michi Ludes (formerly Mikroboy), Liser, Jean Michelle Tourette, Ali Zuckowski, and others. For the first time in the band's history, significantly more songs were written than an album requires.

The result spans from the punk of their early years to pop - exactly as Jupiter Jones have always done it. Human and political, danceable and tearful, simultaneously round and sharp, precisely as the title promises.
