A literature-rap performance by and with Béla Rothenbühler and Stephan Schönhölzer
In a quiet Swiss town, something remarkable unfolds: barely established, Sabine and Schanti shake up the cultural scene with their association "Polyphon Pervers". Acting boldly and cleverly, they rise to become theatre producers of national stature, gathering an illustrious circle around them - from the vain director Lucien, through the drunken ghostwriter Yves, the hedonist and DJ Milan, to the opportunistic star Chantal, Jules and his hemp farmers, who suddenly shine as performance artists. The association subordinates everything to success, and soon after the first irregularities come all manner of fraud.
For the interludes of the Mülheim Theatre Days, author and theatre maker Béla Rothenbühler performs together with actor and musician Stephan Schönhölzer aka Rotchopf: literature meets rap, the reading becomes a performance with live music.
The interludes are a collaboration between the Mülheim Theatre Days, the city library, and the Theatre an der Ruhr.
