Kasper and Bello Save the Forest - Puppet Play for Children from Four Years Old

"Kasper and Bello Save the Forest" is a puppet theatre production in 2 acts (approximately 45 minutes) for children from 4 years old, created in cooperation with the South Black Forest Nature Park. Directed by Dr. Johannes Minuth.

Kasper and Bello wander through the Black Forest and marvel at magnificent trees, animals, old sawmills, and crystal-clear water - until a grumpy gnome with tousled hair appears. He resents that people find pleasure in nature, and with a cunning spell he transforms the forest into a barren, dry wasteland. Plants, animals, and people suffer - including a woodcutter and his daughter who live in the heart of the forest.

Fortunately, Kasper and Bello are on the scene. With the help of the children in the audience, they should manage to save the forest and its inhabitants.

Puppeteer David Minuth brings the characters to life with artistic skill. Dr. Johannes, Karin, and David Minuth write their own scripts and design and create the puppets - their work is known far beyond Freiburg.
