LiteraturHerbst Rhein-Erft 2026 - Everywhere is Wonderland

"Everywhere is Wonderland" is a poetic "flood of senses" to breathe through: from joy through lightness to nonsense, foolishness, rigidity and wit. Poems and music, fairy tales and art create worlds - they give the day and life colour, sound and meaning, "and the world begins to sing when you find the magic word".

Despite all catastrophes, despite misery, war and life's troubles, the world is a wonderful place - a "wonderland" with remarkable people, precious encounters, coffee and fresh rolls. We ourselves mix the colours in our world, make them shine, can shape them, "grasp" them, enchant them.

The event takes place on 25.09.2026 at Abtei Brauweiler.
