The LVR Kulturzentrum Abtei Brauweiler is a former Benedictine abbey in Pulheim, near Cologne, whose origins date back to the 11th century. The Romanesque monastery complex - one of the best-preserved in the Rhineland - now serves as a cultural centre run by the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR). Concerts, exhibitions and public events take place in the historic rooms and courtyard throughout the year.
