Premiere: Doppelt Leben hält besser
Neuberinhaus, Reichenbach im Vogtland, Germany
16 €
This autumn, the Neuberin Ensemble stages Ray Cooneys turbulent comedy "Doppelt leben hält besser": a London taxi driver in the 1960s secretly maintains two marriages at once - until an unexpected incident starts to unravel his carefully managed double life. Armed with ever-new excuses, surprise encounters and a string of mishaps, the protagonist scrambles to keep both worlds from colliding. The set design comes from the Neuberinhaus stage-design workshop.
After the show, a premiere party takes place in the Festival-Café. DJ duo Bataclan from Dresden will play sounds of the sixties; all guests and friends of the ensemble are welcome to celebrate the festival opening. The foyer and Festival-Café were also designed by the stage-design workshop.
