In the Bloom of My Wear and Tear - Michael Ranz
Kabarett Obelisk Potsdam, Germany
When I was young, everything was different! Back then, singles came on vinyl, not out of desperation. I could remember everything, whether it actually happened or not. And "unhealthy" was just another word for "delicious".
Meanwhile, I'm thoroughly disinterested in everything. Before I get worked up again, I'd rather not care at all. I don't care one bit who dies in a film - as long as the dog survives! Ever since I imagine politicians with soap bubbles coming out of their mouths, at least there's something to look at. Today I even know: a little afternoon nap is like sprinkling cheese over the day.
Life is too short to be sad. We need to smile more - it unsettles people. In his fifth solo programme, Michael Ranz lets Tobias Saalfeld put plenty of words in his mouth again. Two hours of practice in smiling, grinning and laughing - professionals are also allowed to squeak, neigh, cheer and slap their thighs.
By the way: when small people open their umbrellas, they look like mushrooms.
