The Colors of Paris - Reading with Rainer Moritz
Literaturhaus München, Munich, Germany
Moderation: Tanja Graf
Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) was a co-founder of Impressionism and one of the most significant painters of her era - yet she remains overshadowed by Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and her brother-in-law Édouard Manet. In "The Colors of Paris" (Oktopus by Kampa), Rainer Moritz, author, translator, and literary critic, crafts a panorama of 19th-century Paris's art world with wit and deep expertise, creating a literary monument to Morisot.
