About: Eivind Aarset

Norwegian guitarist Eivind Aarset has spent three decades reshaping what an electric guitar can sound like - stacking effects and live electronics into cinematic soundscapes that blur the line between jazz, ambient and post-rock. His long-running partnership with producer Jan Bang and past work alongside Nils Petter Molvaer place him at the heart of the Scandinavian nu-jazz scene.
