Description was written before the event

Sultans of Mark are a tribute band dedicated to the legendary Dire Straits. An evening filled with iconic songs like "Money for Nothing", "Sultans of Swing" and "Romeo and Juliet", performed by musicians faithful to the original sound.

About: Dire Straits

Formed in London in 1977, Dire Straits rose from the pub-rock circuit to become one of the defining rock acts of the 1980s - with Mark Knopfler's fingerpicked guitar and storytelling lyrics at the centre of every record. Brothers in Arms (1985) topped charts in over 25 countries and helped establish the CD as the dominant music format of its era.
