About: Flamin' Groovies

San Francisco cult rockers since 1965, the Flamin' Groovies spent decades ahead of their time - mixing Chuck Berry grit with Beatles-era melody while punk and power pop were still years away. Their 1976 classic Shake Some Action remains a touchstone for anyone who cares about guitar-driven rock.
