About: Young Widows

Louisville's Young Widows have spent nearly two decades refining a bruising blend of noise rock and post-hardcore - serrated guitar, tectonic rhythms, vocals that smolder rather than shout. Their 2025 comeback album 'Power Sucker' ended an eleven-year studio silence and reminded the underground why this trio matters.

About the venue: Kantine am Berghain

Kantine am Berghain is a mid-sized concert and event hall located within the Berghain complex in Berlin's Friedrichshain district, housed in a former East German power plant. It serves as a more intimate counterpart to the main Berghain club, hosting live concerts, readings, film screenings, and cultural events. The industrial architecture and high ceilings give the space a distinctive raw character.
