About: The Sisters of Mercy

Founded in Leeds in 1980 and named after a Leonard Cohen song, The Sisters of Mercy built their legend on three studio albums and Andrew Eldritch's unmistakable baritone - and have spent the decades since proving that a band can define a genre without ever needing to add to its recorded catalogue.
