Víkingur Ólafsson performs at Alte Oper Frankfurt on Saturday, 23 January 2027 as soloist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor John Adams. This is the first of three German dates on the pianist's tour. Alte Oper Frankfurt, a historic concert hall on Opernplatz in the city centre, has hosted world-class artists since 1880. Severely damaged during the Second World War, the building was carefully restored and today ranks among Germany's most important concert venues. The programme brings together classical repertoire with contemporary composition.
