About: AZ

Brooklyn's Anthony Cruz - better known as AZ - built his reputation on Nas's Illmatic before releasing the gold-certified Doe or Die in 1995, a debut that helped define mafioso rap. His eleventh album, Doe or Die III, dropped in May 2026 via Mass Appeal Records, closing a trilogy three decades in the making.
