Verdi: Messa da Requiem – Konzertchor Köln | Frankfurter Singakademie

Giuseppe Verdi's Messa da Requiem will be performed on Sunday, 20 September 2026 at the Kölner Philharmonie in Cologne. The concert will be conducted by Konzertchor Köln and Frankfurter Singakademie, two renowned regional choirs. This is one of nine German dates on Verdi's 2026 tour. The Kölner Philharmonie, opened in 1986, is one of Germany's most important concert halls, situated on the Rhine riverbank beside the Ludwig Museum. The vineyard-style seating accommodates approximately 2,000 listeners and is renowned for its excellent acoustics, providing ideal conditions for this monumental work.
