Description was written before the event

An evening dedicated to Rainer Maria Rilke's work takes place on 4 October 2026 at Hinterhofsalon in Cologne. A recitation of the poem "Improvisationen aus dem Capreser Winter" will be accompanied by singing and piano, creating an intimate setting for listeners. This is one of two German dates on the artist's tour. Hinterhofsalon, located in the city centre, offers a small venue ideal for this kind of artistic experience, where the poet's words can resonate in close contact with the audience.
