Daughter of fado legend Teresa Siqueira, Carminho has spent fifteen years turning Portugal's most intimate musical tradition into a global language - from platinum albums and Latin Grammy nominations to a scene-stealing appearance in Lanthimos's "Poor Things" and a sold-out NPR Tiny Desk Concert in January 2025.

About the venue: Prinzregententheater

The Prinzregententheater is a grand neo-Baroque theatre in Munich, built in 1901 and modelled on the Bayreuth Festspielhaus. Originally conceived as a Wagner opera house, it features an amphitheatre-style auditorium with excellent acoustics. Today it serves as one of Munich's premier stages, hosting opera, theatre, and concerts, and is home to the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding.
