Screening of "Captain Volkonogov Escaped" in Dresden

Set in 1938 in a surrealist Leningrad, the film follows Captain Volkonogov, an officer at the Regional Department of Internal Affairs, who is forced to go into hiding when the purges reach his own workplace. While on the run, he attempts to seek forgiveness from the relatives of people he helped persecute.
