Joscho Stephan's Transatlantic Guitar Trio

The Transatlantic Guitar Trio is a remarkable international collaboration that has been turning heads on both sides of the Atlantic.

Fingerstyle guitar champion Richard Smith (UK), gypsy jazz virtuoso Joscho Stephan (Germany) and multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire Rory Hoffman (USA) have joined forces and already performed at numerous prestigious concert series and festivals across the United States.

Now they are crossing the pond. This year the trio celebrates its European premiere - launching from Germany with the aim of winning over audiences across the continent. Critics and audiences alike have been captivated by the breadth of styles and techniques these three musicians bring together in this unusual lineup. Jazz ballads, gypsy swing standards, a touch of pop and groovy original compositions all come together into something fresh and cohesive.

The trio's repertoire is virtually inexhaustible, and their newly arranged takes on the music of Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed make each live show a distinct event in its own right.
