The Stokes - 25 Jahre on Tour

Founded in 2001, The Stokes celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2026 - and take their audience on a journey through a quarter-century of band history: with songs, anecdotes and stories from 25 years of Irish folk music.

The band's hallmark is authentic, unadulterated Irish folk without pop concessions - powerful vocals, traditional arrangements and a palpable passion for Irish music. Collaborations with Noel McLoughlin, Seán Cannon, Shaskeen, The Chieftains, Christy Moore and Altan, as well as two-time recognition as "Best Band" by Tourism Ireland, underscore The Stokes' standing in the scene.

Beyond the music, humour, self-irony and spontaneous interaction with the audience are a fixed part of their concerts. In the anniversary year, personal insights from 25 years of band history are added.
