Manfred Mann's Earth Band has been making music history for over five decades and still commands a massive following around the globe.

The band's roots go back to the early 1960s. In 1962, a 22-year-old Manfred Mann formed his first group, giving it his own name for simplicity. He quickly racked up pop chart hits, but by the late 1960s that wasn't enough for the ambitious musician. After a few years away, he launched the Earth Band - and went on to even greater success. The distinctive blend of rock and jazz elements won over fans worldwide.

Manfred Mann made other artists' songs his own. The Earth Band's takes on Bob Dylan's "Blinded By The Light" and "Mighty Quinn", among many others, have long since become classics in their own right. And what this top-calibre lineup delivers live keeps the Earth Band firmly in the top tier.
