Paris remains one of the most visited cities in Europe - and from Karlsruhe it is now just two and a half hours away by TGV. For over 40 years, Karlsruhe couple Daniela and Uwe Schebek have been returning to the French capital time and again. Their guiding principle: leave the obvious routes behind and find the real Paris. Uwe is a part-time photographer; his wife has been teaching French at the Volkshochschule Karlsruhe for more than 20 years. Every trip brings them fresh perspectives.
