A tribute to the Scottish band RunRig

RunRig were among the most successful Scottish bands of all time - with a devoted fanbase not only in Scotland but also in Denmark and Germany, several number-one singles and albums in the charts. Founded in 1973 on the Isle of Skye, the Celtic rock band released fourteen studio albums, with some songs sung in Scottish Gaelic.

Their music is often described as a blend of folk and rock, with lyrics revolving around the places, history, politics and people of Scotland - in English and in Gaelic. This deep connection between land, language and music is what sets RunRig apart.
